First things first, you’ll need to book your bike in. You’ve got a few options here:
- Option A: Pick up the phone, give us a bell, and tell us what’s going wrong – clunky gears, noisy brakes, mysterious ticking noises… we’ve heard it all. We’ll book you into the correct service based on what you tell us.
- Option B: Don’t fancy a phone call? No judgement. Head over to our online booking system, choose your location (Gateshead or Kielder), and select the service you think you need.
- Not sure what your bike needs? Choose the Free Assessment for Service category and tell us everything you know in the notes. Think of it like your bike’s doctor’s appointment – we’ll diagnose it when it comes in.
Step 2: Drop Off Day – The Real Talk Begins
When you drop your bike off (at either Gateshead or Kielder, whichever you selected when booking), one of our lovely mechanics will do a quick physical assessment while you’re there. It’s not a full service, but it gives us a solid idea of what’s going on. If there’s something really obvious – like a cracked rim or brake pads worn down to a whisper – we’ll flag it straight away so there are no surprises later.
Step 3: Into the Workshop – Wrenches, Wisdom & Wizardry


Now your bike’s in the hands of the pros. It’ll be lovingly hoisted into our workshop stands and worked on by mechanics who live and breathe bikes (and probably care more about your drivetrain than you do). If we spot anything unexpected – you know, the kind of thing that magically appeared since you last looked – we’ll contact you first before doing anything. No mystery charges. No rogue repairs.
We’ll only do the work you’ve approved – and we’ll do it right.
Step 4: The Best Text You’ll Get All Week
Once your bike is sorted, tuned, cleaned, and happier than ever, you’ll get a text message to let you know it’s ready for collection. Simple. No missed calls, no smoke signals – just a ping that tells you it’s time to ride again.
