We like to make things as straightforward as possible, so you can spend less time worrying about setup and more time looking forward to your first ride.
Most bikes arrive around 90% built, with gears and brakes already set up by our team. Because of box size and shipping constraints, some final assembly is usually required, such as fitting handlebars, pedals, or other small parts.
Before you start
Before starting the setup process, make sure you have the tools you need ready to get your bike up and running safely.

Important information
Most bikes are dispatched with the major assembly already completed, including brake and gear setup. Final setup at home is usually simple, but some parts may need attaching or straightening after transit.
Kids bikes, cargo bikes, and folding bikes will usually arrive with more assembly required. This is due to the box size requirements that certain bike brands use when shipping bikes to us.
Team Cycles cannot reimburse any costs involved with setup or assembly.
Please note that assembly tools are not always included, and some bikes may not be supplied with pedals, manuals, or printed instructions.
