Our bike hire centre puts you right at the heart of it. Whether you're a first-timer seeking a gentle lakeside ride or an experienced rider hunting technical singletrack, Kielder delivers. We provide the best bikes, the best kit, and local knowledge to make your ride extraordinary.

Select your date, choose your bikes and pay a 50% deposit to secure your hire.

How booking works

  1. Select pick-up date & time.
  2. Choose hire duration.
  3. Select bikes / items.
  4. Pay 50% deposit.
  5. Wait for confirmation email.
  6. Sign waiver (email or in-store).
  7. Bring ID: Photo ID matching booking name required on arrival.

Important. You must have your booking confirmation email to collect your bike.

Damage waiver £15

Optional cover that limits what you pay if parts are accidentally damaged during your hire.

Borderline

Following the former Border Counties railway line, this relatively flat and easy ride is suitable for all abilities.

Lakeside Way

A multi-user path offering access to the most scenic parts of the lake shore with the chance to spot Kielder's abundant wildlife.

Starting at Kielder Castle, head up the Forest Drive to sweeping singletrack along Kielder Burn and into the forest.
