What kind of riding is it suited to?
The ICE Sprint X Tour is best suited to paved cycle paths, quiet roads, park paths and firm gravel trails. It offers a stable and enjoyable recumbent trike experience for riders wanting a relaxed but capable adaptive cycle for leisure riding or longer-distance outings. It is not designed for steep, highly technical off-road terrain, very rough surfaces or narrow pedestrian-only routes.
Who may find it suitable?
This trike may suit riders who prefer the stability of a three-wheeled cycle, benefit from a recumbent seating position with back support, or want a bike that feels secure and predictable on well-surfaced routes. It may work well for riders who are comfortable lowering themselves into a low seat and who can operate hand steering, braking and gearing controls independently or with support from a companion.
It may be less suitable for riders who need physical lifting assistance, wheelchair-level or hoist-assisted transfers, or specialist postural support beyond the standard seat options.

Mounting, controls and support
Mounting and dismounting the ICE Sprint X Tour involves lowering into a recumbent seating position and standing again from that position. While the seat is higher than some recumbent trikes, this may still be challenging for riders with limited hip or knee mobility, reduced lower-limb strength or balance impairments. Team Cycles staff can demonstrate safe techniques but cannot provide physical lifting or transfer assistance.
Some riders may benefit from coming with a companion who can assist with low-speed manoeuvring, route support or general reassurance. Staff can provide an initial familiarisation with controls, seating adjustments, folding and handling, but cannot offer ongoing physical support during use.
Size and practical information
The ICE Sprint X Tour has an overall width of approximately 800–825 mm and a seat height of around 205 mm from the ground. The seat angle is adjustable and rider fit is based mainly on X-seam, with a typical adult range of approximately 889–1270 mm depending on configuration. The trike also uses ICE’s Compact Flat Twist folding system, helping make transport and storage easier when needed.
Because of its width and turning circle, it is best suited to open, well-surfaced routes where there is space to ride comfortably. It is not intended for steep, highly uneven or technical off-road terrain.
