Join Team Cycles for a special evening forest ride during the North East Dark Skies Festival, running from 13th-21st February 2026. Northumberland is the UK’s leading dark sky destination, with gold tier status, and Kielder Forest offers some of the darkest, most scenic night-time trails in the region.
The festival highlights the importance of preserving Northumberland’s dark skies. It combines science, culture, conservation, and tourism to raise awareness of light pollution and celebrate our unique night environment.
Our evening forest ride will take you on guided trails through Kielder Forest under the night sky. The ride is designed for a safe, enjoyable experience, showcasing the forest after dark. Date and time are to be confirmed.
