Workshop Mechanic Position Available (Full time)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Workshop Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, performing a range of bike maintenance and bike build tasks for our website dispatch operation

Key Responsibilities:
- Workshop Mechanic (Bike dispatch)
- Building and dispatching our website sold bikes to the highest standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest bike models and industry trends.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and organised based on business standards
- Manual handling of all Delivery’s coming in and out of our busy warehouse.
- Occasional Physical store and Workshop cover at our Gateshead Branch
- Occasional Event Support Cover
Qualifications:
- Passion for cycling and in-depth knowledge of bikes and cycling products.
- CYTECH Qualification or an industry recognised equivalent ( We do accept candidates that have proven long term workshop experience in a recognised Cycle store)
- Previous experience mechanical cycle work is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. 5 day per week on a set rota basis.
- Great computer skills for sales transactions and inventory management
